Two-person shop · Homes & small business

Tech support that shows up and actually finishes the job.

JM Tech is the number you call when the Wi-Fi dies before a meeting, the laptop will not boot, or the office printer has become a personality. Remote when that is faster. On-site when it has to be.

Services

What we take off your plate

Residential and small-business work. If it has a power cord, a login, or a blinking light, we have probably seen it.

01

Remote support

Screen-share, diagnose, and fix without a truck roll. Good for software, accounts, email, and “it was fine yesterday.”

02

On-site visits

Cabling, access points, stubborn hardware, and anything that needs eyes and a screwdriver. We come prepared.

03

Repair & recovery

Slow machines, failing drives, won’t-boot mornings. We stabilize first, then recover files when we can.

04

Networks & Wi-Fi

Dead zones, guest networks, mesh, and the office that grew one router at a time. We design for the room you have.

05

Small-business IT

New hires, shared drives, printers that only one person understands, and a stack that should not require a full-time admin.

06

Backup & hardening

Off-device backups, MFA, phishing-resistant habits, and the unglamorous work that keeps a breach from becoming a week.

Approach

A short path from “it’s down” to “it’s done.”

  1. 01

    Tell us what broke

A few sentences, a photo of the error, or a five-minute call. We decide remote vs. on-site before you wait around.

  2. 02

We fix the thing in front of us

You get a person, not a queue. We explain the tradeoffs and do not upsell a stack you do not need.

  3. 03

    We leave it sturdier

Notes, a backup check, and the one setting that would have caused this again next month.

The shop

Two principals. Your name on the work.

JM Tech is a new LLC run by two people who would rather solve the problem than hand you a portal. We keep the roster small on purpose.

Co-founder

Jeremy

Hands-on support, systems work, and the person who still reads the logs. If you write us, you are not talking to a dispatcher.

Co-founder

Partner

The other half of the shop. Swap this name and bio when you are ready — the site is built so both of you show up as principals.

FAQ

Straight answers

Do you work remotely or come on-site?

Both. We start remote when the problem is software, accounts, or something we can see over a share. We come on-site for hardware, cabling, and anything that needs a physical presence.

Who do you take on?

Households, freelancers, and small teams. If you need a 24/7 NOC or a hundred-seat help desk, we will tell you honestly that you want a different kind of firm.

How do you charge?

Set your rates here once you have them. The site is ready for hourly, visit minimums, or a simple monthly plan for businesses that want a regular check-in.

What should I send when I request help?

Device type, what you were doing, the exact error, and whether anyone else is blocked. A screenshot beats a paragraph.

Tell us what is on fire.

We read every request ourselves. Include a callback number if you want a voice instead of email.
